Igniters, I've been with the community for more than 5 years and would say that out-of-memory issues are among the most notorious ones, as well as unexpected ones, that are reported by fellow Ignite developers. Even if we do a great job estimating a required cluster capacity, the data volume can burst in 3,5,10, etc. years, and the capacity of today won't be enough to meet the needs of tomorrow. The “throw more resources into the cluster” approach is an often-heard piece of advice. However, in practice, most of us cannot scale out a cluster in a moment.
So, I collected some material that summarizes out-of-memory preventive measures. Join tomorrow online or register and watch later on-demand: https://www.gridgain.com/resources/webinars/apache-ignite-workshop-cluster-memory-management-techniques - Denis
