And I can now reproduce your behaviour - small step forward :-)
I tried setting the step monitor to non-silent but got nothing printed.
I can't debug in IDE as it requires selenium and jetty running (as
configured in the pom). I suggest we have a script that runs these
plugins in an interactive mode (a la mvn jetty:run-war) so we can run it
through the debugger.
