Thanks for investigating and describing the issue. There are a number
of issues in progress regarding Softlayer [1], but I don't know the
provider well enough to tell whether this falls under one of them. Is
there any way you could try with 1.7.0-SNAPSHOT to see if things are
different there?
I hope Andrea Turli, who's recently been working on fixing Softlayer
[2], will be able to comment on this. It might also be useful to hop
on #jclouds at Freenode to see if Andrea's around and recognizes what
you're seeing..?
Otherwise yes, please open a JIRA issue. Of course, contributions and
fix suggestions always welcome!
