When will you release 1.7.1? Is there a 1.7.0 patch that can I apply before 1.7.1 release will be produced?
Development work for this is tracked by JCLOUDS-415. Some of the required changes have already been made, so you could always try downloading the current 1.7.x code, updating the Guava dependency and trying to build it.
You may also want to jump on to IRC (#jclouds at Freenode) to ask about the status of this there.
