Hi all,

thanks for your interest, turns out it was probably a jar issue. I used jdk 7 u40, but this on its own did not solve the problem. I had forgotten some jars (jclouds 1.6) i had imported manually before the maven dependencies. I deleted them and it worked fine.

If you can use an older JDK version, that would be an easy option, yes. Otherwise, you can use the latest snapshot of your choice. See [1] for more details.
