Hi, guys I just begin to use JMeter. When I learned how to use it, I felt confused about the concept 'sub-samples' of the duration assertion, because I find nothing about it in the chapter 'Assertion' of 'User Manual'.
In my opinion, 'Child sample' means the sample under a controller paralleling the assertion and 'Main sample' means the sample paralleling the assertion, but assertion configured to apply to 'sub-samples' didn't work both on my 'Main sample' and my 'Sub-sample'. Does 'Main sample' mean 'Parent sample' and 'Child sample' of 'Parent sample' mean 'Sub-sample'? Is right? Thank you all for reading my tedious statement and I am expecting for reply. Kyle
