Sounds like the login step is either failing or you just don't save the

Another possibility comes from a wrong management of .NET browser variables.
These are named like __ViewState, but in some case there are more than one (it
is implementation dependent).
These variables change at each page, and so it must be extracted and reused in
the following POST:
failing to do that returns unpredictable results.
