Hi it should work - when you say doesnt "set" , you are looking at the first request and you are seeing the cookies sent say the request tab of view results tree listener? Ensure that the domain in cookie manager is m.whatever.com and that you dont have redirect automatically in your http sampler Otherwise please share more details of what your test plan looks like and what you are checking (it is possible m.whatever.com is detecting you are not a mobile app and redirecting you back somewhere or something like that)
