I think TCP Sampler is a chicken bone .(chicken bone's meaning in chinese: sth not useful, yet u don't want to throw it away) TCP Sampler is not very useful because: 1. 'End of line(EOL) byte value' option only let u set one byte to identify the end of response. but as a binary packet, the byte may appears many times in the packet. 2. you set the hex-representation of request packet in the 'Text to send' input box. but there is no way to vary some fields of it.
