The REST invocation can be performed using JMeter.

1.  POST function can be invoked using a combination of the following
     a. HTTP Request Defaults
     b. HTTP Header Manager
     c. HTTP Request
2. GET function can be invoked using a combination of the following
     a. HTTP Request Defaults
     b. HTTP Header Manager
     c. HTTP Request
