I see no reference to any repository resolution or updating of the pax
mvn url service.

I'll try that in the morning when I get back to the office. Using
the same mvn: url's directly in the org.apache.*feature.cfg file
resolves fine and the app starts up properly.
Will try with trace in the morning.
