Hi Gareth

In Karaf Cellar, we have some enhancements in the roadmap:
- add a transport layer to be able to call remote OSGi service (it's DOSGi like and we are in the transport protocol selection phase, but it's not related to Hazelcast)
- add a "federation" of service registries with proxy in it

The HTTP clustering support is interesting and I will add in the roadmap. The Karaf WebContainer is "delegated" to Pax Web. I will discuss with Achim how to implement it in Pax Web.

Regards
JB

Hello,

Looking into the hazelcast documentation, I understand that hazelcast can
support http session clustering. It appears wars can be clustered by running
a script which decorates the war with the Hazelcast clustering feature.

Would this be a feature you could consider adding into Karaf (i.e. when you
deploy a wab, as well as installing on all Karaf instances in the cluster,
you could also have an option to add clustering for the wab itself)?

Just throwing an idea for a new feature out there. Feel free to say that it
wouldn't make sense.

thanks,
Gareth
