Hi, As ApacheDS we're on full speed to make it running on OSGI. And it'll be distributed on top of Karaf. It won't be just sitting on OSGI for sure. We're leveraging OSGI on every possible corner to make it extendable and reconfigurable on the fly.
So i might start giving some headaches to you Karaf guys in the near future :) However it'll take some time. Until then, you can use Jean-Baptiste's Karaf feature.
