This is what I did but it does not seems to work as expected.
I've set-up two projects on github:
1) https://github.com/lburgazzoli/lb-sandbox-java
2) https://github.com/lburgazzoli/lb-karaf-examples

The 1st one does not even use OSGi but a plain OpenJPA and there is a
difference among what it logs if I configure slf4j or log4j.
The 2nd one uses Karaf and Aries JPA and if I set log4j the bundle with the
persistence unit fails to start whereas it start but it does not log what
expected if configured to use slf4j.
