Hi Arthur,

yes it's a known issue. It also affects Karaf itself as the features XML in <repository/> elements are not embedded in Karaf, preventing to bootstrap without an Internet connection.

I started to work on this during the week end. It should be fixed tonight and included in Karaf 3.0.1.
