Hi Richard,

junit should not be in the kar.

For the unit test, you should directly use junit in the bundle project 
packaged in the kar.

If you want to do integration test of the kar, you can use pax-exam: it 
will bootstrap a Karaf, where you can execute command or drop file, like 
the kar one.
