It's what I saw last week (I think I sent an e-mail). But, it sounds like a
OpenJDK regression to me.
Anyway, in general case, we should simply remove the arg.

The problem occurs only with with openjdk (not with Oracle or IBM jvm).
I'm still investigating but I suspect a regression in openjdk.
