I bet that the problem is not related to Karaf itself but more about
what you deployed.
A heapdump is required, try Oracle JDK.

- karaf version : 3.0.0
- we deployed : cxf, spring bundles, our bundles, etc...
- I am not able to collect heap dump as i am using 3.0.0. I think heap
dump collection is supported 3.0.4 on wards.
And if we run some performance tests, more CPU and memory getting
consumed. One clue would be, i am using logback syslog appender for
logging. And noticed after 2-3 days of testing, log are no longer written.
Our production enevironment is having openjdk jre. And we do not have
jmap or jconsole to collect the heap dump.
Would be great if could let me know any other option to collect the heap
dump from karaf.
I measured the heap memory usage using third party tool.

Hi Srikanth,
nothing on my side.
Can you provide:
- Karaf version
- what did you deploy in the container
- a heap dump (or even better dev:dump-create)
Thanks,

Hello,
Anybody faced performance issues in karaf?
I noticed one issue, where heap memory keep on increasing
without any
operation being done.
Would be helpful, if i could get information on how to tune the
performance of karaf.
Best Regards,
Srikanth.
