Thanks Achim, I will try the 4.0.4 snapshot .. From: Achim Nierbeck [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 15 December 2015 14:51 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Karaf SSH shell backspace and tabbing issue
yes get rid of windows ;) afaik 4.0.4 does addres some of those issues and if you try with the latest 4.0.4 snapshot it should be fixed already. If not please open a Jira-Issue for the lacking functionality, cause most of us don't use Windows. regards, Achim 2015-12-15 10:12 GMT+01:00 Jens J Parappallil <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: Hi , I am experiencing an issue with karaf shell backspace and tabbing in 4.0.3. Pressing backspace does not cause the cursor to move backward it goes forward, but the characters are getting deleted. Similarly pressing double tab causes completions to get appended in the same like one after the another. I am running karaf in widows 7 and issue happens when using putty to connect to karaf. Issue is not present in the local windows cmd console. I checked the putty configurations by connecting to a karaf3 setup and issue is not present. Any pointers ?
