yes, you need to add a dependency to your feature with the wrap feature:

<feature prerequisit="true">wrap</feature>

in your feature definition.
If you have a custom build, make sure that the karaf std. features are
"grouped" via brackets "(feature1, feature2, ...),(custom-feature)"
in your karaf-maven-plugin section.
