Oh PS, what’s odd, is that this doesn’t happen when it’s just the ‘spring’
feature, instead of the ‘spring-web’ feature. E.g:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<features xmlns="http://karaf.apache.org/xmlns/features/v1.3.0
<http://karaf.apache.org/xmlns/features/v1.3.0>" name="edge.feature">
    <feature name="edge.feature" >
        <feature version="3.2.14.RELEASE_1">spring</feature>
    </feature>
</features>
