Just to be clear, the karaf.bat change did not fix that issue as it was 
entirely different.  Just wanted to say that the issue APPEARS to have been 
resolved by something that was done. I can't be entirely sure as the behavior 
I'm speaking of only appeared sporadically while Karaf was running in a 
console, but often enough such that I would have expected to see it yesterday 
when I was looking for it, but didn't.
