Hi,

As decanter is used mvn URL, your custom distribution should have the
mvn URL (for the first issue you mentioned).

What do you have in etc/org.apache.karaf.features.cfg (featuresBoot).

If you want to send to a file (log, jmx, any event collected by
decanter), you can use the file appender:

feature:install decanter-appender-file
