Can you try a feature:install -v -t install of going via the deploy folder ?

About what you said, it seems to restart. It's maybe not the whole container
but just the shell console, due to a refresh.
Can you try feature:install -t -v to see what's going on ?
Did you test on intermediate version like 4.2.3 ? And eventually do you have a
simple test case in order to me to reproduce it. I'm asking because we updated
the Felix Resolver couple of times on 4.2.x series.
