karaf-maven-plugin Generate Features Destination

Hi,

Vaadin is using the karaf-maven-plugin to generate the features file and is being placed in the 
target directory.

I cannot find a way to set a target location in the plugin docs.

Is it possible to locate the features file outside the target directory using 
the plugin?
