I know that this flow is not intuitive, but that's OSGi ;) What you
eventually get is an OSGi service with pooling, XA-enlisting "data source"
with interface of `javax.sql.DataSource`.

Did you try to add this to your maven-bundle-configuration to remove the
check during resolution?
