Hi, Yes, that is the plan. We intend to use a similar approach to what was done for Camel Karaf.
There are two main options we are considering: 1. Propose to the CXF community that they create cxf-karaf (similar to camel-karaf). 2. We "wrap" CXF into Karaf bundles/features ourselves (karaf-cxf). Since we already wrap CXF 4.x in Camel Karaf, I don't see any technical blockers to this update.
