Hi Franchesco, Here are some general system recommendations for Knox: * CPU: 2 x 4 CPU Cores * RAM: 16 GB Minimum * Disk: 500 GB Minimum * Net: Dual 10 Gbe
Points to consider: * Knox can be run on a VM or physical machine although as network IO is critical to performance there will be some overhead for VM networking stack. * Knox is generally CPU bound so better/more CPUs will improve performance. * I don’t have concrete details on minimum RedHat version but I’d say 6.4 would be a safe minimum. However for Knox 0.6.0 a minimum of Java 7 is required. * HA setup is at least minimally covered in the User’s Guide: http://knox.apache.org/books/knox-0-6-0/user-guide.html#High+Availability Kevin.
