The configuration “kylin.hive.beeline.params” is used to generate beeline cmd. For example, if you set kylin.hive.beeline.params=-n root, then each beeline cmd will become “beeline -n root -f cmd.sql”.
The conf you found is for integration tests, to adapt to hdp sandbox’s hive environment. They are not mandatory. You should set the value according to your environment.
