If Power BI DirectQuery connection mode is enabled for the Kylin data source, the queries would run on the cubes. Otherwise, the data has to be imported by "select all" statements into Power BI which is very inefficiency. I think Power BI could not import the Cube definition directly, as there is table model only in Power BI.
