Kylin relies on coprocessor of HBase, and the jar file will be placed on HDFS. And it seems that Kylin only support HDFS(but not S3), is that right?
The problem is, when Hadoop Master IP address changes, the jar file cannot be found any more. So the region server start fail, showing error “No Route to host xxx”. I saw that there is coprocessor update tool provided in Kylin update. Does the tool support HDFS Master IP address change too? I used the tool for test, it failed, here is the log: added new table: KYLIN_0YBOJ15NWJ 2019-05-09 12:01:06,537 INFO [main] util.DeployCoprocessorCLI:118 : Identify tables [KYLIN_JI4QIR8ZM7, KYLIN_2XHF8J4LFI, KYLIN_S755YTYLKW, KYLIN_B6PGB2JE7S, KYLIN_AH8N2NIU4Q, KYLIN_NT7VE7GQ81, KYLIN_5TFGDMQFYP, KYLIN_HXY9JQQW39, KYLIN_X9BWS8NANU, KYLIN_2WDSNXSMZE, KYLIN_1JNVQ5MCK1, KYLIN_MTJFHGG6QI, KYLIN_OVK6J3ZTSC, KYLIN_3L8AT3CA1K, KYLIN_RG8CU9RMHX, KYLIN_Z0IU50RWH0, KYLIN_MLJ22PHTDP, KYLIN_TJ5TWPJTUQ, KYLIN_S0ALAXH9OA, KYLIN_AHC5MB00YI, KYLIN_O8T2D1071V, KYLIN_JOUXJOPXMS, KYLIN_58Y4FJ9Y94, KYLIN_NDYI0T2MO5, KYLIN_MXJH0GEKTT, KYLIN_8N0YQWB65Q, KYLIN_I90Q6ZNPQW, KYLIN_2R5FBIBOC0, KYLIN_P55WH2OVAA, KYLIN_LBPF63BC3C, KYLIN_PZD73E7PTV, KYLIN_A13FK89DB0, KYLIN_H5V63BCGEC, KYLIN_78MDGCJD0E, KYLIN_0YBOJ15NWJ] Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 2 at org.apache.kylin.storage.hbase.util.DeployCoprocessorCLI.main(DeployCoprocessorCLI.java:120) 2019-05-09 12:01:06,548 INFO [close-hbase-conn] hbase.HBaseConnection:136 : Closing HBase connections... 2019-05-09 12:01:06,548 INFO [close-hbase-conn] client.ConnectionManager$HConnectionImplementation:1774 : Closing zookeeper sessionid=0x10070efddb806ff 2019-05-09 12:01:06,552 INFO [close-hbase-conn] zookeeper.ZooKeeper:684 : Session: 0x10070efddb806ff closed It seems there is something wrong with this tool. Then how to use it? Thanks very much! Best Regards! Jason Tang
