The lenya version is 1.2.2. It is running on linux under jboss4.01sp1.
Everything is driven through SSL except that I edited the
./WEB-INF/classes/org/apache/lenya/cms/cocoon/generation/ProxyGenerator
to talk directly to localhost:8080 so I could actually publish through
SSL. And I have the static export task turned on.
It turns out that restarting jboss brought my pages back into view in
the authoring section. Woohoo! Now to go read the manual and find out
how to reload the sitetree without restarting jboss.
Thanks for the clue,
also, 1.2.3 has a much more robust sitetree implementation (the old one
was prone to concurrent modification problems), so i suggest an upgrade
Speaking of upgrading to 1.2.3, how do we do this?
I have an existing 1.2.2 tree with content in it. When we were initially
testing out lenya we tested it with 1.2.0 with some junk pubs. When we rolled
it out, we did it with 1.2.2 and had a whole new installation where we started
creating our real pubs. I remember having problems doing an upgrade in place
between 1.2.0 and 1.2.2 because the default pub changed and I couldn't figure
out what to copy from it to our new pubs that were originally based on it. Am I
going to have the same problem in 1.2.3?
theoretically there shouldn't be a problem, because it's supposed
to be backwards compatible. Just make sure, that your content, work and
resources/authoring resp. resources/live are being backuped ;-)
How do you build your publications? Do you overwrite the default publication
or do you clone it?
