Hi,

Could you send me the debugging code you mentioned? I can't get BXE working with a non-xhtml document and i have no idea why. Adding the strip-namespaces line did not help for me.

Thanx!

Hi,

This problem came up from a previous thread. I'm using tomcat and lenya 1.2.1,
and when I edit a page using BXE, nothing happens. After a lot of digging, it
appears that the "xml" step is adding "xhtml" namespaces to all the tags. When
I try to debug this using a sourcewriter in the pipeline the XML output from
that appears ok (I inserted the sourcewrite directly before the <serialize
type="xml"> in the xml step in usecase-bxeng.xmap in my pub). However, if I
don't bypass the pipeline with a sourcewrite, the output to the browser from
that step has all the "xhtml" namespaces attached.

I've spent over a day on this already and it's driving me nuts. If anyone has
any ideas it'd be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I also now have some debugging scripts that I think others may find useful.
Basically an XSL that adds sourcewriter tags to your content using a transform
and a set of things to add to your pipeline to output to a file. (There are
some times when you can't output to a browser because the pipeline is too
complex). Please let me know if anyone's interested in these and I'll be glad
to send them along...

Thanks!
-Mike
