Thanks for confirmation I didn't leave anything out this time. I
added Lenya1.2.3 to the list of tested platforms.

Did you skip part of step 6 of the Easy Download?
"6. Move:
{pub}\index-default.bat (or whatever it is now named), and
{pub}\log4j.properties
To:
C:\apache-lenya-1.2.2\tools\bin\"

You need the log4j.properties in the bin directory,

The point of the "Easy Download" was to upgrade search for a
publication without needing to download multiple files and change
multiple files and keep changing directories. ZIP files maintain the
directory structure, removing many steps. Unless you unzip in the
Lenya directory, unzipping in the wrong place just adds useless files.
Unzipping into the Lenya directory might upgrade all applications,
but an index-pub.bat would be needed for every publication, and I have
only tested with "default" and derivatives. (Did anybody try the blog
publication?)

I clarified the instructions some. Better?
