Oh!  So the object tag is what's stored in the XML file but gets converted back
to an img tag?  Is there any doc on what the format of that object should be? 
Now that I recall, I remember seeing object tags all over the place for images
(especially when I edited with bitflux) but never knew why.  If I have the spec
for how lenya uses the object tag, maybe I can fix the alt text and path
problems both and submit a patch.  Actually, now that I think of it, alt text
never really worked in bxe either.
