Tried to follow the instructions for doing it outside but they did not
work either.
Did you follow the instructions exactly or were there any additional
steps that you needed to do?

There were no fatal errors on the automatic build but if I try to
execute the build.xml, I get a class not found error.
Any idea about what I might have missed? Where does the automatic
build put the output jars (if it builds them)?
The error message in the console window at the end of the debugging
instructions follows. http:127.0.0.1:8888 does generate a 404 which
indicates that Jetty started OK and is doing its best.
