Ok. No chance to have this in the next versions ? ;-)
one problem to solve is the active notification, which means
that the CMS pushes a notification to the client.
Another possibility would be that Kupu keeps calling the CMS
on a regular basis to keep the session alive. I think you might
also want to talk to the Kupu community about this. I will
add a note within OSR-101, because I think this is quite a generic
problem.
