Right now we are discussing over on the dev-list how lenya can use e.g. forrest as renderer and how to marriage them. Forrest concentrates right now more on: "Apache Forrest is a publishing framework that transforms input from various sources into a unified presentation in one or more output formats. The modular and extensible plugin architecture is based on Apache Cocoon and relevant standards, which separates presentation from content. Forrest can generate static documents, or be used as a dynamic server, or be deployed by its automated facility." http://forrest.apache.org/ Lenya is a CMS framework, which offers you standard cms components that you can use in your own cms. Short: Lenya = CMS framework Forrest = Publishing framework salu2 -- Thorsten Scherler Wyona Inc. - Open Source Content Management - Apache Lenya http://www.wyona.com http://lenya.apache.org [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
