the authoring area reflects the future live area, but you
can't see the *whole* site for a specific point-in-time, especially
for a future point-in-time,
whereas it shouldn't be very difficult for a previous
version by retrieving, because Lenya does version the pages,
but for a future version it would be a bit different, because
one would have to query the scheduler.
Just being curious, but what is your specific usecase?

by scheduling a doc to be visible in the future, you are scheduling a
publish (of the current page in your authoring area) in the future.
Look at the doc in your authoring area.
Don't know if you can schedule a rollback or restore.
