I saw your post earlier today, and tried the W3C validation, but it
never finished. Adding:
action=""
would fix the first error, but I never saw the other four. The
action="{$root}../search-{$area}/lucene"
from your post an hour ago is obsolete as of Lenya 1.2.4 (and for
anybody who upgraded to my version.)
Addin <P> tags would damage our website. We need the search field
and button to appear "inline", and P tags create a "block". Why would
XHTML require adding functional elements that ruin the display?
Producing valid XHTML is a worthy goal. Let me know what changes
would make Search pass validation. (Would you post the full list of
validation errors?)
