Hi

I made an attempt to use apache httpd mod_cache for our live site but i had some problems (note that our apache is configured to act as
a reverse proxy).
Most of the pages are not cached probably due to missing HTTP headers. According to http://wiki.apache.org/cocoon/ControllingModCache the following headers are necessary:

- Last Modified
- Expires
- Cache-Control
- Content-length

However using wget -S on the tutorial page of the default publications i got the following headers:

  HTTP/1.1 200 OK
  Date: Thu, 29 Dec 2005 13:15:34 GMT
  Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1
  X-Cocoon-Version: 2.1.7
  Content-Type: text/html;charset=utf-8
  Set-Cookie: JSESSIONID=413493D6CF8530C6ACB01E66A8398DDE; Path=/lenya
  Connection: close
  Length: unspecified [text/html]

and the page is therefore not cached. Has somebody experience with cocoon/lenya and mod_cache and can give me some hints how to proceed?

Jann
