Hi all,
I'm a tomcat/cocoon/lenya/svn newbie, so please forgive me if my
question sounds a bit silly.
After having installed lenya 1.2 successfully, I've decided to migrate
to lenya 1.4. First, I've run build.sh clean in the lenya 1.2
directory. Then, I've downloaded lenya 1.4 from the svn repository as
well as cocoon 2_1_X and after that I've followed the installation
steps described in the Lenya website. The build process has failed:
I've got around 200 warnings and around 60 errors.
The build process throws a lot of warnings (arout 170), but should not
throw any error. There is probably something wrong with your
configuration. Could you paste your local.build.properties?
I've been looking in the mailing list archives, but I haven't found a
solution so far. I thought it might have something to do with my
cocoon 2_1_X version as I gather from some messages in the list that
it should be 2.1.8 and it currently is 2.1.9. Thus, I've downloaded
the 2.1.8 version from the cocoon site because I don't know how to get
it from the svn repository.
svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cocoon/branches/BRANCH_2_1_X/
cocoon-2.1.x
Make sure that you set it up right in the local.build.properties
HTH,
Renaud
I've made a build.sh clean and repeated
the installation steps but I keep getting many warnings and errors.
My system environment is:
--OS: Linux
--Tomcat: 5.0.28, successfully installed
--Java: j2sdk1.4.2_08, successfully installed, both PATH and JAVA_HOME
are correct.
--Cocoon: 2.1.8
--Lenya: 1.4.x
