Hi An installation using apache-lenya-1.4alpha1-src.tar.gz and cocoon-2.1.8-src.tar.gz as per http://lenya.apache.org/1_4/installation/source_version.html does not yield a working version.
Most operations fail with java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.xml.transform.dom.DOMResult.getNextSibling()Lorg/w3c/dom/Node; There is various information on this issue back from 2005, but no conclusive solution. Since Cocoon 2.1.8 seems to use xalan-2.7.0.jar, only xercesImpl-2.7.1.jar and xml-apis-1.3.02.jar should be used, no? But apache-lenya-1.4alpha1-src.tar.gz itself ships with xercesImpl-2.6.2.jar and xml-apis.jar.
