Michael thanks for your answer.

I have downloaded my publication from http://lenya.apache.org. Is this a known failure from Lenya or only a wrong configuration of Lenya? What’s the difference between the distribution from http://lenya.apache.org and http://www.wyona.org.

lenya.apache.org offers Lenya (core) itself and two sample publications (default and blog)

wyona.org offers the publication of the University of Zurich, which is totally independent of the ASF,
but is a publication based on the Lenya core

Maybe I only have to change one file?

you might want to check if the University of Zurich customized something within their publication.

We didn't. On our *test* installation (not accessible) the access restrictions also run properly (as required in http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/lenya-user/200603.mbox/browser) in the Lenya *default* publication.

We run Lenya 1.2.x Rev.379129 on this test installation (which is about 10 days old).

No idea why it doesn't work on your installation. May be you need to re-install Lenya completely.
