If possible check out what local language setting the problem server has.
I believe (IIR (Thorsten) C ) it's something to do with server needing to be
set for UTF-8.
So probably not a problem of your publishing but of the Linux server
settings.

Subject: A Strange Problem - Special Characters as  on linux but not on
windows
Hi,
I have got into a strange problem. Whenever i publish any page in Linux
environment my document publishes fine via static html exporter
but, sometimes the document is flooded with special characters as  on the
static html page.
So when i move the document out to windows all  characters are gone as if
by magic. I doubt that whether it's a problem with the exporter
or with the Lenya, How do I solve this issue,
regards,
Anshuman
