Hi Phillip,
Hi,
I've created a new publication and am trying to edit it with BXE. I
recently saw an email on this mailing list that helped me get a bit
further. I moved the "index_manager_index.xconf" file into the
publication and everywhere it said "default" I changed it to "cfs",
which is the new publication name. I'm still seeing errors when
I try and edit and save a document with BXE:
message: index cfs-authoring doesn't exist

Here is my environment:
Lenya: subversion head 1.4 (lenya/trunk, resynced a couple days ago)
J2EE container: Apache Tomcat 5.5.15
JVM: JDK 1.50
IDE: Eclipse 3.0.2 (using Ant for build)
Browser: Firefox 1.5.0.1
In which folder did you copy the"index_manager_index.xconf"?
I put the edited "index_manager_index.xconf" in
"pubs/cfs/config/cocoon-xconf". I did a "build clean" after
resynching with the trunk but I can't do it now without losing my new
publication. I'm not sure what you mean
by "delete the tomcat webapp" since Lenya is the webapp and deleting it
doesn't make sense. I did edit the build.xml file to NOT install Lenya
under the tomcat/webapps directory (commented out install-tomcat), if
that's what you meant.
Tomcat pickups the files directly from the build/lenya/webapp
directory. I deleted the Tomcat created "work" directory.
None of those things have fixed the problem. I'm saving my web site
files from the publication and starting over with a "build clean" to
try again. I'm wondering if anyone else is having success using JDK
5.0?
Did you try to do a build clean, delete the tomcat webapp and the
tomcat cache, and build again?
