Jim,
I've seen this same error under the following circumstance:
I have both cocoon and lenya installed as separate apps on the same
tomcat instance.
Then I modify the cocoon.xconf of lenya
Then I get that error "Scheduler with the name of "cocoon" already
exists."
If I restart tomcat, everything goes back to normal, but if I open
and save the xconf file, prompting lenya to re-read it (I guess) it
complains with your error message.
I was hunting for a way to name the Lenya scheduler lenya, and the
cocoon scheduler cocoon, but I dunno if there is a way, or if that
will help.
If you check the logs, you'll see both the cocoon app and the lenya
app start and run their own Quartz Scheduler, but they don't seem to
have conflicts, unless you monkey with your cocoon.xconf files
without restarting and monkeying.
