hmm. sorry, i have no more ideas. i'm using lenya 1.4, and my knowledge about 1.2-specific issues is nil. all i know is that the page should try to plant a cookie with a session id, and if it fails, it appends the id to the URL (then you should see something like "http://your.server/index.html;jseesionid=2344581347501023941"; in your browser's address bar. if there is neither a cookie nor this id querystring, then cocoon is confused or your browser behaves in a weird way.

maybe some of the seasoned 1.2 users can chime in and offer help...
