We converted our pub to be independent from the default publication.
So this is not an important feature for us anymore.
I am not shure if it makes sense to add this feature to the inheritance
mechanism (adds more complexity after all).
i'm with jürgen here. i think we should spend our energy on making it
easier to do custom stand-alone publications instead.
