a happy new year to everyone and do hold your breaths for lenya 2.0 :) our list of lenya live sites was quite outdated, especially since some high-profile sites we used to list have since migrated to other systems. if you are running a lenya site in production, please review your entry at http://lenya.zones.apache.org/docu/community/live-sites.html, or, if you are not listed yet, consider submitting information. please state the lenya version you are using, and optionally any major modifications you have made. also, if your site has a particularly nifty special feature or highlights lenya features in an interesting way, let me know. also, if you have an "about my deployment" page that might be of interest to prospective lenya users from a technical POV, send a link! we might have to apply some "censorship" in the future and display only a selection of particularly interesting deployments prominently, but i'd still like to maintain a complete list somewhere. one thing that struck me is that it's really hard to tell it's a lenya site, unless people use a more-or-less unmodified default publication. certainly one of the strengths of lenya! many webmasters choose to remove the <meta name="generator" content="Apache Lenya"/>. i know there are many good reasons to do that (corporate politics, protection against automatic attacks), but it makes statistics even harder... best, jörn -- Jörn Nettingsmeier "One of my most productive days was throwing away 1000 lines of code." - Ken Thompson. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
